We hope that everyone enjoyed a happy Thanksgiving! It is hard to believe that Christmas is just around the corner. Please keep in mind that our last day of operation prior to Christmas will be Wednesday,, December 21st. We will reopen on Wednesday, January 4th. Also, just a reminder that December tuition is now due. Please keep in mind that a full month’s tuition is due for the month of December. Although your child will only attend three classes in December, this will be offset in a future month when your child’s class will occur five times within that month. We base our fees on an average of 4 lessons per month. *** Competition teams will have rehearsal on Tuesday, January 3rdwith the exact schedule TBA***
Christmas parties:The younger children (preschool and primary classes) will have a small Christmas party during the last few minutes of their last class prior to Christmas break. This translates as follows:

Monday classes will have their party on December 19th

Tuesday classes will have their party on December 20th
-
Wednesday classes will have their party on December 21st
-
Thursday classes will have their party on December 15th
-
Friday classes will have their party on December 16th
-
Saturday classes will have their party on December 17th
-
Class moms should ask parents to volunteer to bring simple snacks for the party
Costumes: We are now measuring all students for their recital costumes. It is very important that your child be present in class this month so that we are able to take his/her measurements. Just a reminder that if you have not made your costume deposit of 25.00 per costume, we will appreciate your doing so as soon as possible. All costume orders will be placed this month. The balance of the costume fees will be due in January, and we will email statements in January showing your outstanding balance. If, for any reason, your child is NOT participating in recital, the office should have already been informed. Once costumes are ordered, parents will be responsible for costume payments even if classes are discontinued or if you decide not to participate in the recital.
Recital Pictures / Important dates to reserve: Recital pictures will be taken from March 24th through April 1st here at the studio. An exact schedule of picture times will be posted at a later date, but please mark this on your calendar now!! If you anticipate a conflict during picture week (i.e. vacation planned etc) please let us know right away. That way we MAY be able to arrange the schedule accordingly. Also, be sure to reserve Friday, June 1st through Sunday, June 3rdfor the recital dress rehearsals and performances. The recitals and dress rehearsals will be held at TPAC in the Jackson Hall. The specifics regarding rehearsal and showtimes will be posted at a later date.
Dance shoesshould NOT be worn outside. Students, please wear your street shoes in and out of the studio. Dance shoes should only be worn during class.
Congratulationsto teacher, Meghan Mir Vance who was married on November 18th! Our best wishes to Meghan and her new husband, Neil!!
