Performance Companies have been a long standing tradition here at AAD. They not only take part in conventions and competitions throughout the southeast, but also perform for community events. Our Senior, Teen, Tween, Junior and Kid companies compete in various styles of dance including Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop. Company members are required to attend weekly classes in Ballet and Jazz, as well as Tap or Hip Hop. Many of our students have had the opportunity to study under such dance legends as Mia Michaels, Shane Sparks, Tyce Diorio, and Dave Scott, just to name a few. We are extremely proud of all of our company members, not only for the many awards they receive each year, but also for the dancers they become.
