Step-by-Step Guide to Joining Your
Clickable First Virtual Class!
Login to the parent portal above on this page. Login using your email and password you used to register for classes. If you are having issues logging into your account go to app.akadadance.com. You may need to reset your password, it is ok to use existing password.
Once logged in scroll down to the student heading. Under your student's name click view classes.
On the right you will see a green button “ATTEND VIRTUAL CLASS” when your class is scheduled to start you can click that button which will lead you to Google Hangouts.
If you are on a mobile device or a tablet you will be asked to download the Hangouts Meet by Google app.
Make sure to allow access to your camera and microphone.
Once you are in the Google Meets app, you will click the “Ask to join” button.
When the class starts the teacher will admit you into the virtual class.
